Tyler Adams Effectively Called Out Pulisic For Skipping The Gold Cup

Impossible to interpret this comment from Adams as anything else besides a call out of those players, Pulisic included, for not showing up for the Gold Cup. This is a strong message from the guy who wears the captain's arm band and wears it for a reason. Adams cares a lot. New regime. Do or die year for this group that we've been waiting to deliver for the US since, well, forever. 

Any other Gold Cup I think you can see where Pulisic and others are coming from if they wanted to skip. Not this year. Not this tournament. New coach and because US is the host nation they have auto-qualified for the World Cup. That means not actual games for USMNT to get on the same page before next summer when it's the biggest tournament in the history of the United States. This is the one you MUST show up for and far too many didnt. 

I love Tyler Adams. I am glad he's our captain. If Reyna, etc had 1/10th the heart of Adams they could've made all-america. Instead, they're getting Wally Pipp'd by Malik Tillman and Diego Luna. Maybe we will eventually be better off for it, but it's nice to hear that our Captain is also frustrated and led by example.
