2025 NFL Draft Grades For All 32 Teams

The 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay, Wisconsin has concluded. Helluva a turnout from NFL fans. 205,000 on Thursday night! Without further ado, here are my draft grades for all 32 NFL teams:
Arizona Cardinals: B+
Two of their biggest needs were Defensive Line and Cornerback and they attacked those holes in the first two rounds with Ole Miss DT Walter Nolen and Michigan CB Will Johnson. They didn't however address Wide Receiver. Marvin Harrison Jr. should continue to grow and develop in year two, and Michael Wilson is a nice piece, but Zay Jones is WR3, so would've liked to see them attack that area in the Draft.
Atlanta Falcons: D
Jalon Walker is an outstanding pick at #15. I thought he was a top 10 guy myself. But then to come back into the 1st and give up NEXT YEAR'S 1st is pure lunacy. Especially when you do it for an 245 lbs. pass rusher. James Pearce Jr. is going to have to be a perennial Pro Bowler for this to ever make sense.
Xavier Watts is a decent pick in Round 3, but they also only had one pick after Round 4 and it was in the 7th Round.
Baltimore Ravens: A
The Ravens have always been one of the most well run teams in the NFL and that has continued even after longtime GM Ozzie Newsome left with Eric DeCosta. They get Georgia's stud Safety Malaki Starks in Round 1and follow it up with Marshall EDGE Mike Green in Round 2, a player most prognosticators had going in Round 1. Baltimore needed more Corner depth and they took CB Bilhal Kone out of Western Michigan and CB Robert Longerbeam out of Rutgers and both have a legit chance to make the team. The Ravens also drafted Justin Tucker's replacement in Round 6 with Arizona Kicker Tyler Loop which is an underrated move.
Buffalo Bills: A-
The Bills also needed Cornerbacks and Bills Left Tackle Dion Dawkins was so happy they addressed that area in the 1st Round he jumped in the pool.
Hairston blazed a 4.28 40 at the Combine and is a ball hawk. Great pick at #30. They didn't rest on their laurels with Hairston either. They took CB Jordan Hancock out of Ohio State and CB Dorian Strong out of Virginia Tech on Day 3 as well. EDGE Landon Jackson out of Arkansas is also a guy that can help Joey Bosa and Greg Rousseau stay fresh so they can get to the Quarterback.
Carolina Panthers: B+
I don't love the WR Tet McMillan pick in the top 10 when there are questions about him loving football. That is always a recipe for disaster, despite the talent. In the 2nd Round, EDGE Nic Scourton out of Texas A&M is a guy I really like. He got too heavy at A&M and was much better at Purdue. He got below 260 lbs. for the Combine so I think he'll get back to that Purdue productivity next year which is a steal at #51. Ole Miss EDGE Princely Umanmielen said he's going to make the Panthers pay on his next contract for making him wait so long. That's bold for the 77th overall pick. Love the confidence. In Round 4, Trevor Etienne has a chance to be a differencemaker.
Chicago Bears: B-
I don't love the Colston Loveland pick at #10. I gave that a C- in my 1st Round Draft Grades. Luther Burden III at #39 is one that could make or break their draft grades. He needs a lot of work on route running, but he is a dynamic weapon with the ball in his hands. They need to continue to upgrade their Offensive Line and Boston College OT Ozzy Trapilo can come in and compete for the Left Tackle job. 7th Round RB Kyule Monangai has a shot to make the team and have an impact which is all you can ask from a 7th Rounder.
Cincinnati Bengals: D+
I hated the EDGE Shemar Stewart (Texas A&M) pick at #17. The guy only had 4.5 total sacks in three years in college! I do really like the LB Demetrius Knight Jr. out of South Carolina. But with Sam Hubbard retiring and Trey Hendrickson looking to get traded, they didn't draft any other potential replacements outside of the 4.5 sack man. That's a lot to put on him as a rookie, so I wished they addressed more holes.
Cleveland Browns: A+
I honestly am not the biggest fan of the Mason Graham pick at #5. As a college DT whose career high was 3.5 sacks, what is he doing well enough to warrant being the #5 overall pick? Stuffing the run? That's nice, but DTs get drafted high to sack the Quarterback AND stuff the run. That being said, they got the Jaguars 2026 1st Round pick. That could be a very very high pick in a much better draft. Not only that, I LOVE the LB Carson Schwesinger (UCLA) pick to start Round 3. I would've liked him to the Bucs at #19. Don't be surprised if he wins Defensive Rookie of the Year is Abdul Carter doesn't put up a ton of sacks. RB Quinshon Judkins over his Ohio State teammate Treyveon Henderson was surprising, but Bowling Green TE Harold Fannin Jr. was a monster in college. I don't love Oregon QB Dillon Gabriel over Shedeur Sanders, but they made up for it by taking Shedeur in the 5th Round. Solid overall draft, but the fact that they get the Jags 1st next year puts this way over the top.
Dallas Cowboys: A
Tyler Booker, even though he is a Guard is one of my favorite picks in the Draft. He's just an culture changer on the Offensive Line. Dallas getting back to their old ways of dominating line play. Boston College EDGE Donovan Ezeiruaku had a ton of production last year and a lot of Bucs fans wanted him at #19. East Carolina CB Shavon Revel Jr. may have been a low 1st/high 2nd if he wasn't injured. He has a ton of on-ball production. Him paired with Trevon Diggs will be interesting. Expect Dallas to get a ton of picks. They also addressed the Defensive Tackle spot with UCLA's Jay Toia and Maryland's Tommy Akingbesote. I'd expect at least one of them to make the final 53.
Denver Broncos: B-
Texas CB Jahdae Barron at #20 overall is a nice pick. I would've been good with him at #19. He's a versatile piece in the secondary with a bunch of on-ball production. UCF RB RJ Harvey has a chance to start as a rookie and while getting a punter at the end of the 6th round is always nice, I would've liked to see them add more firepower on offense outside of Illinois WR Pat Bryant in the 3rd and TE Caleb Lohner (Utah) in the 7th.
Detroit Lions: C
I understand why they went with Ohio State DT Tyleik Williams at #28 with Alim McNeill missing most of, if not the full season after his injury late in the season. But it was a bit rich for me. They doubled dipped with Guards with Georgia G Tate Ratledge in the late 2nd Round and LSU G Miles Frazier in the 5th. Part of me wonders if one of these guys will cross-train at Center to develop into Frank Ragnow's eventual replacement. After Aidan Hutchinson went down, they really didn't have much pass rush to speak of and they only spent a 6th rounder on Boise State EDGE Ahmed Hassanein.
Green Bay Packers: B+
I like Texas WR Matthew Golden at #23. They are clearly not happy with their WR room as they double dipped with TCU WR Savion Williams in Round 3. They also went EDGE, EDGE in Rounds 4 and 5 with Texas' Barryn Sorrell and Oklahoma State's Collin Oliver. I liked how they attacked their needs which getting immediate contributors.
Houston Texans: A-
I like the Texans trading back 9 spots and picking up a 3rd this year and 3rd next year.
Speaking of double-dipping, they went after Iowa State WRs. They already have former Cyclone Xavier Hutchinson on their roster, but they added both Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel. Those two will pair well with Nico Collins and give CJ Stroud some options this year with Tank Dell expected to miss the full season. They also addressed their Offensive Line with Aireontae Ersery (Minnesota). They traded away Laremy Tunsil and desperately needed to upgrade that unit. USC RB Woody Marks was ripe for a joke.
Indianapolis Colts: A
Tyler Warren is the perfect player for the Colts at #14. He can provide a weapon over the middle and also blocks his ass off. At #45, Ohio State EDGE JT Tuimoloau has great size and a good motor. In the 6th Round, Notre Dame's Riley Leonard really fits their system and had some more flashes at Duke. I liked this draft.
Jacksonville Jaguars: F-
I'm not going to waste everyone's time here - this was a horrendous draft and it's all due to the trade up. New GM James Gladstone is just 34-years old and he got taken to the cleaners here. They gave up a future 1st Round pick and more to move up for a Wide Receiver/Cornerback. No matter how you slice it, that's a horrible move. You only do that for a Quarterback and we're not even sure at this point that Trevor Lawrence is really good. Do I expect him to improve under new HC Liam Coen? Yes I do, but the Jags were picking 5th with a Super Bowl winning HC last year and now they have a 1st time HC. There isn't a guarantee they'll be a lot better. If they give up the 5th pick in next year's Draft, they really set themselves back. They need to win and win now and Hunter better be a top 5 WR for this to come close to even making sense.
Kansas City Chiefs: A
The Chiefs really made a great pick with Ohio State OT Josh Simmons at #32. Coach Jon Gruden thinks he's the best Tackle in the Draft and they really struggled at that position and had to move longtime LG Joe Thuney out there. Simmons solves that massive problem for them. In the 3rd round, I really like Louisville EDGE Ashton Gillotte and Cal CB Nohl Williams. Trading up in the 5th to snipe Oregon LB Jeffrey Bassa one spot ahead of the Bucs was well done too.
Las Vegas Raiders: A
New GM John Spytek and his staff crushed this Draft. Boise State RB Ashton Jeanty will be the biggest gamebreaker in this whole class and will help keep the ball out of Patrick Mahomes, Justin Herbert, and Bo Nix's hands. TCU WR Jack Bech should start for them early on. Offensive Line was a concern and they went Texas Tech IOL Caleb Rogers and William & Mary OT Charles Grant who is a small school, certified ass kicker. They also built up the interior of their Defensive Line to help Christian Wilkins with South Carolina DT Tonka Hemingway and Ole Miss DT JJ Pegues in the 4th and 6th round.
Los Angeles Chargers: C-
North Carolina RB Omarion Hampton is a fine player, but you just signed Najee Harris and they are similar runners. I get that Jim Harbaugh wants to run the ball, but this seems duplicative. Ole Miss WR Tre Harris seemed to be the key to their offense and they really struggled when he went out, especially Jaxson Dart. They also went WR in Round 5 with KeAndre Lambert-Smith and TE after that with Oronde Gadsen II, the TE out of Syracuse and son of a great Dolphins Cornerback. My main gripe was not addressing EDGE earlier as they took South Carolina's Kyle Kennard in the 4th Round, but still need to replace Joey Bosa. That's a lot to ask of a 4th Rounder.
Los Angeles Rams: A
I outlined the Falcons completely blowing it by giving up next year's 1st Round pick to the Rams to move up 20 spots for a pass rusher. The Rams will be stocked with two 1sts next year with Matthew Stafford having just one year left on his deal. So that already boosts this grade high. I do like the Terrance Ferguson pick, the TE out of Oregon. At 6'5" 247 lbs. he ran a 4.63 40-yard dash. He's a beast and it honestly wouldn't surprise me if three years down the line he's the best Tight End in the class. In the 3rd Round, Michigan EDGE Josaiah Stewart wasn't as hyped up as some of his Wolverine teammates, but has a ton of upside. Auburn RB Jarquez Hunter has a shot to make the team and contribute in the 5th. Fine overall Draft, but the 1st next year pushes this grade up to an A.
Miami Dolphins: A-
The Dolphins addressed Defensive Tackle early with one of Coach Jon Gruden's favorite guys in the Draft in Michigan DT Kenneth Grant. He has the size to help plug up the run game and he can also get after the passer. They double-dipped that position with Maryland DT Jordan Phillips in the 5th Round. But I really like Arizona G Jonah Savaiinaea in the 2nd Round. He is a massive guy that can get that run game going that kind of took a step backwards last year. Texas QB Quinn Ewers can be a pet project for HC Mike McDaniel, but I'd be surprised if he beat out Zach Wilson for the backup job.
Minnesota Vikings: C
The Vikings only had five picks in this Draft and went with Ohio State Guard Donovan Jackson at #24. Taking the 3rd rated Guard in a bad draft and no 2nd Round pick makes this a fairly weak class. Maryland WR Tai Felton has some promise as they could use another option besides Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and Jalen Nailor.
New England Patriots: A-
LSU OT/OG Will Campbell is going to be a heckuva player. It's not sexy, but it's a great pick. Ohio State RB TreVeyon Henderson is the real deal and should start for them next year. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up winning Rookie of the Year if Ashton Jeanty sputters at all. In the 3rd Round, Georgia C Jared Wilson is full circle with former Georgia C David Andrews being released. Miami K Andres Borregales is a weapon and I don't mind Kicker or Punter picks in the 6th or 7th rounds. Washington State WR Kyle Williams is going to need to be a player though. New England doesn't have enough good WRs.
New Orleans Saints: C
Texas OT/OG Kelvin Banks Jr. could've gone as high as #6, but he settles in at Pick #9 for the Saints and addresses a big need as RT Trevor Penning has been a disaster so far for them. Pick #40, Louisville QB Tyler Shough felt a bit rich. And I realize that the Saints need a QB. But it just doesn't appear that this was a QB Draft. Hopefully for Saints fans, he's better than some of his Combine stuff.
I do like the 4th Round pick of Oklahoma LB Danny Stutsman. That guy is an animal and should help bolster second level. Kansas RB Devin Neal is a nice pick in the 6th round. He's got a chance to not only make the team but be in rotation with Alvin Kamara.
New York Giants: A
I love the Penn State EDGE Abdul Carter pick at #3. He was the best player available and the Giants need to get back to having a fearsome pass rush. That's always been their franchise's identity. Trading up for Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart was an aggressive move I respect. I'm not a big Dart guy, but good for them for getting their QB and not giving up a ton to do it. Toledo DT Darius Alexander is a bit undersized but man is he quick. I really like him at the top of the 3rd Round. Arizona State RB Cam Skattebo is going to give this team a different level of toughness.
New York Jets: B+
The Jets had seven picks all in the first five rounds. I like OT Armand Membou from Missouri at #7. He's one of the few guys we don't really have questions about as far as position. His length will allow him to stay at Tackle in the NFL. LSU TE Mason Taylor is super fast, but I'm lukewarm on him as a pro despite having a Hall of Fame dad in Jason Taylor. Florida State CB Azareye'h Thomas is solid value in the 3rd Round as he could've gone early Round 2.
Philadelphia Eagles: B-
Alabama LB Jihaad Campbell might be a heckuva player, but he's very injured right now coming off shoulder surgery last month. But if healthy, he could start right away as Eagles LB Nakobe Dean is nursing an injury too. Texas S Andrew Mukuba solves the Safety need and 4th Round Nebraska DT Ty Robinson will attempt to fill Milton Williams' shoes. I did think it was interesting they took two Offensive Tackles in the 6th Round maybe hoping one works out as a potential heir apparent to Lane Johnson on the right side. Local kid, Syracuse QB Kyle McCord is a nice story going back home.
Pittsburgh Steelers: C
I really like the Oregon DT Derrick Harmon at #21 overall. Steelers DT Cam Heyward will be 36 when the season starts so you need to start thinking about the future. They didn't have a 2nd Rounder, but Iowa RB Kaleb Johnson is a nice Najee Harris replacement. My favorite pick of theirs was 4th Round Ohio State EDGE Jack Sawyer. He's perfectly a Steeler. His college QB Will Howard will be joining him and while I know Coach Gruden likes him, asking him to potentially start is a lot of pressure. So do they sign Aaron Rodgers now? Or trade for Kirk Cousins? No definitive answer on QB drops this down a full grade.
San Francisco 49ers: B-
The 49ers just love drafting huge Defensive Lineman and Mykel Williams is a Myles Garrett sized pass rusher. His playing time was a bit concerning, though I know Georgia is always loaded. I would've liked to see him play more than 33% of the snaps. Texas DT Alfed Collins can help clog the middle and Oklahoma State LB Nick Martin has the drive to clean up the outside. An interesting pick was Oregon RB Jordan James. With Jordan Mason now on the Vikings, he's got a shot to carve out a legit role.
Seattle Seahawks: B+
I really like North Dakota State IOL Grey Zabel at #18. He can play all five positions but will likely play Center or Guard in the NFL. South Carolina S Nick Emmanwori was the talk of the Combine with his size and speed profile. They got caught in the run on Tight Ends in Round 2 and took Miami TE Elijah Arroyo who I didn't like as much as the other TEs. I actually really like the Alabama QB Jalen Milroe spot at #92 overall. He brings a different element and can be a Tayson Hill type weapon with his 4.4 speed. On Day 3, I really like Colorado State WR Tory Horton. That is a guy who may end up starting for the Seahawks sooner than later.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: A
The Bucs took a bunch of high character guys that love football. And people need to stop doubting GM Jason Licht and this front office. They clearly know how to draft. They've drafted nine starters on each side of the ball! That's wild!
I've been hearing rave reviews about Emeka Egbuka at #20. I'm hearing he's a Chris Godwin clone with a similar size/speed/profile and he's a great character guy. Notre Dame CB Benjamin Morrison in Round 2 provided us with the moment of the Draft with this call.
But they didn't stop at one CB, they took Kansas State CB Jacob Parrish in the 3rd Round too. Central Arkansas EDGE David Walker looks like a small school freak who flashed a lot at the Senior Bowl. But my favorite pick in this Draft is Oregon WR Tez Johnson in the 7th round. He is a dynamic returner and he'll likely make the team for that exact role. With kickoff rules being changed we're expecting some shorter kicks and this guy will make you pay for doing that.
Tennessee Titans: D+
Cam Ward better be good. Damn good. Because this whole draft makes no sense if he's just average. They had so many other needs, I don't think putting an average - good QB changes their outcome much in the short term. They focused on getting Ward some weapons with Florida WR Chimere Dike, Texas TE Gunnar Helm, and Stanford WR Elic Ayomanor all in the 4th Round. But this grade is all about Cam Ward. You shouldn't take a QB if your team isn't realdy to compete.
Washington Commanders: B+
Washington only had five picks and none in Round 3 and none in Round 5. But keeping that in mind, they had a decent hall. Oregon OT Josh Conerly Jr. put some good things on tape and Ole Miss CB Trey Amos is a sticky man CB. The Commanders also got Jayden Daniels a couple weapons with Virginia Tech WR Jaylin Lae and Arizona RB Jacory Croskey-Merrit in the 4th and 7th Rounds respectively.
Even though this was a down year as far as the class, I still had a great time covering the Draft. Thank you all for reading and watching!
