The Giants Are Finally Changing Directions As A Franchise By Embracing The Dark Side After Drafting Two Players That Pay Homage To Darth Vader On Gamedays

I'll be honest guys, I was about as down on the Giants as I have been in my life following this last season of absolute bantha poodoo. But Joe Schoen drafting two guys that rep the baddest man in the galaxy far, far away has me feeling like Big Blue is actually on their way back.

For too long, the Maras have run the Giants with an emphasis on getting players with perfect character ratings in hopes of fielding a team of Luke Skywalkers on the field. The only problem with that is those guys usually suck at football. Why not embrace guys that think the Jedi are a bunch of whiny rule following bitches? The best player in franchise history was an absolute wild child off the field and brought that thunder when he was on the field.

I'm pretty sure Lawrence Taylor doesn't have the faintest clue about the tragedy of Anakin Skywalker, but I can guarandamntee you he sees Darth Vader as a fellow constituent in the hell raising game. If the Giants can get even a fraction of LT's mindset and production from Abdul Carter and Jaxson Dart, this draft will be an A++++++++ in the grade books when we look back at it.

P.S. Open invite to Abdul and Jaxson to become honorary Disney Boys the next time Uncle Davey takes us to the parks.
