Now I'm not trying to encroach on the Reags Kentucky beat but as 1 of 5 people in America who paid MONEY for a #8 LEVIS Oilers jersey, I need to destroy this Horcrux myself. Not that anyone expected him to beat out QB1 Cam Ward in training camp.. But that curiously timed surgery choice certainly marks the official end of a hilarious era in Tennessee football. 

We'll always have that 4 TD Falcons game though. What a time to be alive!

And you could definitely argue Will Levis never had a prayer to truly thrive on the Titans. He played behind the worst offensive line in NFL history 2 years in a row, barely had any real receiving weapons, switched head coaches & playbooks after an injury riddled rookie season, and got dumped by the girl who became more famous than him during the NFL Draft. 

Not exactly a winning formula for a young QB trying to build confidence!

But hey, that's also life in the National Football League. And yet Levis could still end up being a Top 2 QB in Titans history. Because if Cam Ward fulfills his #1 overall potential and turns this street rat franchise around? Winning playoff games in their shiny new sold-out stadium in 2027? Well in that case Mayo Man would absolutely deserve a ring in my book. 

Maybe he can figure it out between the ears and be successful somewhere else. I really hope he does cause the talent is there for sure. Levis says the right things and clearly gives a fuck about being a good guy for his teammates. I wish it could've worked out… But can't say I'll miss watching him play like jacked Nathan Peterman on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
