The End Of JimmerMania - College Basketball Legend Jimmer Fredette Has Officially Retired From Basketball
I know what you might be thinking. Didn't Jimmer already retire? No. In fact he wore the red, white and blue at the Olympics last year:

And sure it was 3x3, but he still repped the USA. Look, there's something special about Jimmer. He's one of those guys that I will talk about for the rest of my life because of that run he had at BYU. JimmerMania was a real thing:
The dude was must watch. In fact I still can remember having to go to the Versus channel just to watch him vs Kawhi at 11pm on a random weekday night. You simply never wanted to miss a Jimmer moment. He's one of the ultimate college basketball guys with what he did at BYU, fizzled out in the NBA and then helped rejuvenate his career playing in front of our very own Wonton Don.
So shout out Jimmer, I don't know if we'll ever really get a guy like that again. We'll have the Cooper Flagg's of the world, who come in with all the hype, have a 1-and-done year. But we rarely will have a guy who blows up with one school and takes over the entire country. There wasn't a soul out there who didn't hear of Jimmer in 2010 and 2011. The fact he's a 1-name superstar says all you need to know about him.
