Still Got It: Fred Couples Drills A Birdie On 1, Promptly Celebrates With All The Patrons And Remains The Coolest Golfer At Augusta

Freddy! Dude is just the best. I mean, he's got the prettiest swing in all of golf still to this day. There are few consensus answers in sports, but anyone with a brain says Couples has the prettiest swing in golf. The man just grinds away at Augusta, used to make the cut seemingly every year and does it all with a yellow ball now. 

But this? This rules.

I know we don't get a ton of emotion early at Augusta. It's a grind, it's a 4-day Tournament, but Couples is having the time of his life. This is what happens when you're one of the older guys who is playing as a former champ. It's why I want former champs to always play in this event, it just has a different feel to it. But I love the reaction. Arms out, talking to the patrons, telling his caddie to go get the ball. It's perfect Fred Couples and that's why he's still one of the coolest to do it. You don't get the nickname Boom Boom without being awesome. 

He's a great showman too and that's what you see here. Also, just another example of why the no cell phone rule fucking rules. Guys just living in the moment, everyone paying attention to what's happening in front of them and you get to celebrate with Couples. Guy is having his time of his life, make the cut one more time for us now.
