There Is Nothing Like The Tradition Of Seeing Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson And Gary Player Flush Their Drives To Get The Masters Started

Easily one of the cooler traditions in all of sports. Three legends of the game, stepping up at Augusta and still flushing drives. Hell, Gary Player is 89 years old! Man looks better than all of us reading this. Jack is 85, Tom is 75. But this is how The Masters should be. It's obviously rich in history, it's obviously where players can elevate themselves into a different level of history. It's only fitting to have legends throughout the years start us off.

I love waking up and watching this every year. It's even better than the three legends will crack some jokes, act like it's a regular Sunday round with your friends at the local track. Then you realize they have 11 green jackets, three of the biggest names the sport has ever seen and doing it all at Augusta. Love that Gary still hit his signature leg kick.

Again, the man is 89 years old and doing this. Could convince me he'll go out and shoot like a 73 right now if you really waned to.

Welcome to the best four days in golf. We're officially off with Patton Kizzire, Nicolai Hojgaard and Kevin Yu bogeying the first hole and all of us bitching about live TV coverage. A tradition unlike any other.
