Nintendo Is Releasing A New Mario Kart Game Called Mario Kart World Where You Can Control The Weather And Drive "Virtually Anywhere" Out Of The Map

Listen, unless you have a dump in your pants, and I don't care if you're 10 years old or 50, Mario Kart is objectively one of the best video games ever created. The nostalgia paired with kicking your family's ass in a racing game never gets old and Nintendo is gonna milk that until the end of time. There's a reason that the Japan street go-karting experience goes viral every few months:

Do I long for the days of Mario Kart on the N64? Yes, but the idea of getting to drive with the cow and roam anywhere on the map in a 24 player race sounds in the year 2025 kinda electric too:

If Nintendo wanted to go full heel, they'd pull a Fortnite and add characters of everyone under the sun from Sabrina Carpenter to LeBron. The price tag of the game is a whopping $80 which is probably like 2 cartons of eggs these days if you look at it that way, but I'd pay a zillion if it meant getting to race The King, Our Highness, The GOAT, LeBron James versus Portnoy on Rainbow Road. Empty check to Nintendo if they can make that a reality.

Anyway, this apparently is gonna be released as a Switch 2 exclusive which is a new console coming out so you're probably looking at like $400 if you want to play this game, but by early indications, that might actually be worth it. Warzone and Fortnite be damned, we're getting back behind the wheel fellas. See you on the track.
