The Disastrous Tarp Job The Chicago White Sox Grounds Crew Performed Today Is The Perfect Embodiment Of The Franchise

But yes Marty, sadly they are serious.

This is the state of affairs with literally everything surrounding the once proud face of southside Chicago baseball.

Amateur hour.

The "already in midseason form" cliché gets thrown around too often nowadays, and I take no joy in watching this organization continue to trip all over themselves and be the laughing stock of professional baseball.

It's not funny anymore.

It's really pathetic. And sad.

Chicago once enjoyed a healthy rivalry between its American League and National League teams. Back when both teams' ownership groups gave a shit about winning.

It's beyond the point of no return with Reinsdorf. I genuinely feel bad for White Sox fans at this point. He is not just torturing his fanbase, he is causing them to no longer enjoy the sport altogether. An issue I know is plaguing fans of several franchises in the sport now, not just the White Sox. And something the other owners in the sport need to address for the greater good of the sport as a whole.

They need to enforce a salary floor if they're not going to ever seriously implement a cap. If they're going to share revenue, then cheapskate scumbag owners shouldn't be rewarded by the success of the well run teams who actually do generate revenue. And if they refuse, like the Reinsdorfs and John Fishers of the world- then force them to sell to ownership groups who will.

If you don't think this is a flawed business model, you have rocks for brains.
