'We Should Be Playing A 12 Or 11 Seed' - Pat Kelsey Has No Damn Idea How Louisville Ended Up Being An 8 Seed, Brings Stats To Call Out Committee

I'm not going to lie, this put me in a tough spot. On one hand, I hate Louisville with every ounce of my body. On the other hand, I despise the committee and dumb shit. Put the two together and you might as well hit me over the head with a hammer. Louisville is not an 8 seed. I'm man enough to say that. I don't think they are all that good, but they aren't an 8 seed. You look around the seed lines and it makes even less sense. It also goes to show the committee stops working on about Friday of the conference tournament week. It happens every year where teams make runs, look different, and none of the games matter because the old fuckers on the committee need to hit the bed early.

I will say I support Pat Kelsey for calling out the committee. We need more coaches to do this. My hands are tied here and I hate having to give him a compliment. If everyone around has you somewhere around a 6 seed and you drop to an 8, there needs to be an explanation. The groupthink of bracketologists tend to be better than the 12 people in the committee room and that's just a fact.

It is worth noting that Louisville does get games in Rupp Arena. That's a pretty nice benefit if your argument is 'well you need to play the top teams to win the Tournament anyways.' You get Creighton and then probably Auburn there. That's a home game. I know it's easy to pile on the committee, but they truly are dumb as shit. This needs to be done every year until they make changes and get rid of AD's on there.
