It’s been 25 years and they won the Big East Tournament. They sweep the Big East, Rick Pitino brings St. John's back to where they should be. St. John's should be a good program in the Big East. They lost 4 games in the regular season by 7 combined points. It's insane. Any other year and we're talking about them as a 1 seed and all that. They'll be a 2, but it just goes to show you. 

There's nothing like the Big East Tournament either. It matters. It's the most important conference tournament in terms of what it means to the schools and all that. St. John's gets that and the regular season. What Pitino did this fast at a place like St. John's is why it's the best story in college hoops. He turned RJ Luis into a Big East POY. He has them thinking San Antonio, that only happens with Pitino. There's very few things in college hoops like the Garden when St. John's is rocking too
