Myles Garrett Says The Fans Know His Decision To Stay In Cleveland Has "Never Been About The Money, It's Always Been About Winning"

So Myles Garrett held a press conference this morning in Cleveland to talk about his new contract extension that reversed his original request to be traded from the Browns. I should've known that the circus was about to start when pictures started to surface that the podium was decorated with dinosaurs and the media was given dinosaur cupcakes as they waited for the event to begin. But if I didn't catch that drift early, I caught it once Myles started to speak and he gave off the first ever 100.0 recorded score on the Bullshit Scale when he said that the fans know it was never about money, it's always been about winning.

Look, I quite literally could not be happier that Myles Garrett decided to finish his career in Cleveland. In my eyes, this means the Browns are not going full-on tank mode. Joel Bitonio is coming back instead of retiring. Myles signed an extension. And I think the path is to bring in a veteran QB like Kirk Cousins, Aaron Rodgers, or Russell Wilson to try and win now. This allows us to take Abdul Carter or Travis Hunter instead of reaching for a QB at #2. I love all of it.

BUT, there is quite literally a 0.0% chance that Myles Garrett decision to remain in Cleveland is because of "winning" and "not money". Folks we're talking about $40 million per season. $2.5 MILLION PER GAME!!! $123 million guaranteed. Again, I'm happy he's staying and I don't care it's only about the money, but it's all about the money. Next thing you know the LIV guys are going to tell me the money had nothing to do with them leaving the PGA Tour.
