Bill Belichick Is Requiring UNC Staff To CC His Girlfriend On All Emails Sent To Him....But It May Not Be As Bad As It Sounds

Thanks to the FOIA, we THE PEOPLE have access to all of Bill Belichick's emails sent at UNC. At least I think that's how FOIA works, right? If you're a state employee, you're subject to FOIA requests. So, if you're willing to go through the process of requesting it, any email can be seen. That's exactly what journalist Matt Hartman did above.

Anyways, enough FOIA talk...we are here to talk about the JUICY news that Jordon Hudson has to be CC'd on all of his emails. 

The immediate reaction to this is shock and disgust. How could Bill Belichick become such a simp? The once proud leader of men is now being bossed around by his 24-year-old girlfriend. The aggregator accounts came out in full force to tell this side of the story:

After looking at all the information we have, I don't think this is that big of a deal.

It's important to look at the context of the email, specifically the subject line: social media and web content. 

Let's be real, in 2025, Bill is not spending a lot of time making sure the social media team is doing their job. Even if he did, he doesn't have the pulse on what works to help promote the football program. However, Jordon, who has been very involved with UNC since the announcement, is on top of social media like any young person. My guess is she is handling a lot of the media/PR side of things for the program to make sure it aligns with what Bill wants. Is that a good thing? Debatable....but the headline everyone is seeing is suggesting she is involved in football decisions. I would wager big money that she is not. It's not universal on the college level to have wives of the HC being involved in the program, but it's not exactly a foreign concept. 

Overall, I don't think this is that big of a deal. Will it potentially make for an awesome documentary one day? Yes, but I'd say there's a much higher chance this leads to nothing but Jordon Hudson leading the social media side of things for the program.
