Tim Hardaway Sr. Doubles Down On His Possibly Not So Random Beef With Tyrese Haliburton
Someone needs to tell Tim Hardaway Sr. to avoid calling into sports talk shows, because when he does, this scumbag lets all the hate out of his heart like he's Clayton Bigsby. Obviously Hardaway hasn't learned his lesson since today he decided to double down how much he despises Tyrese Haliburton. Ol' Timmy might even hate Haliburton more than he hates gay people, which according to his 2007 phone interview with The Dan Le Batard Show is A LOT.
Now we shouldn't hold something from 18 years against someone, people change, but apparently the reason Hardaway Sr. is hating on Tyrese runs deeper than some on the court smack talk. BUT, rumors are Hardaway has been allegedly holding on to a 24 year grudge against Haliburton's cousin for banging Hardaway's wife in a penthouse and having her SCREAMING? I'm not sure if that's true, but Tyrese's tweet sure threw gasoline on that fire. In Hardaway's interview today Michelle Beadle even asked "are we allowed to know what went down here" which feels like she trying to find how personal this beef actually gets.
Hardaway could just be taking it personal that Hardaway Jr. has been dog walked by the Indiana this season, and not only Haliburton, but the entire Indiana roster has been chirping.
NBA dads are out of control. We've seen LaVar ball over the years, we just got Stephen A. Smith getting ripped to shreds by LeBron, so it would make Tim Hardaway Sr. is sticking up for his grown ass 32 year old son who should be able to handle his own business. There has to be something deeper than trash talk. The funniest part of this interview is Hardaway saying there is no limit to trash talk, then immediately the next sentence out of his mouth being "there is no limit to trash talk." For the NBA fans that learned the word frontrunner last season, no shit Haliburton isn't going to be skipping across the court down 20 in a game. But if you actually pay attention, you can see Haliburton still jawing at opponents even when down.
Hardaway needs to learn some deep breathing techniques, or find a hobby that allows him to let go of whatever his making him a salty little bitch. No one cares that a dusty 60 year old wants to fight a literal kid for playing basketball. If Hardaway keeps this up, I hope Haliburton drops the nuke on him that Tyrese hinted at in that tweet. But, truly I hope Haliburton simply ignores this beef, and worries about what is happening in the present like an adult - getting healthy and getting the Pacers back to the #3 seed in the East.
