Daryl Morey Finally Gets One Thing Right, Says That Sixers Fans Are Only Fueled By Anger

Uhhhhh hey, Daryl. No fucking shit, pal.

It's been a decade at this point, and Sixers fans have tried everything. They've tried to be patient and supportive. They were told they were going to purposefully suck for a few years, but it would all be worth it because they'd have a great team waiting for them at the end who could contend for multiple championships.

So Sixers fans sat back and put their blind faith and loyalty into this organization. They sat back and watched as they drafted a guy with the 1st overall pick who literally forgot how to shoot a basketball. They sat back and watched as Jimmy Butler just walked in free agency after being here for a few months. They sat back and watched this organization give out a max contract to Tobias Harris. They watched as Ben Simmons refused to ever try to improve, and ultimately quit on this city and quit on trying to be a basketball player altogether. They watched as the James Harden experiment crashed and burned. They watched as Joel Embiid suffered injury after injury after injury.

A decade later and the Sixers are no closer to contending for a championship today as they were with Tony Wroten. And now Daryl Morey wants to act like it's a joke that Sixers fans are angry? I'm not entirely sure that Daryl Morey is in a position to be making any jokes here. Especially not when it seems like he's spending most of his free time liking ass pics on Instagram than trying to find out a way to fix this cluster fuck of a team.

Don't get me wrong, it's a great tush. No doubts about that. Not taking a single thing away from Kesha here. But Daryl Morey being aggressively horny clearly isn't making the situation here in Philly any better. In fact, it seems to be making everything worse. The man is lost, the organization is lost, and they're at a point now where they should be thankful that the fans still care enough to even be angry in the first place. Because another season of this, and it'll be complete and total indifference. Which is the worst fate any professional sports team could suffer.
