Getting All This NFL Chaos On A Sunday Night In March Is Fucking Awesome

I know typically I spend this month talking about college basketball, but I got a little caught up. First, I was about to write a blog about how Josh Allen has had a pretty nice run here, minus the whole devastating loss in the AFC Championship Game thing. But winning MVP, getting engaged to Hailee Steinfeld and getting the most guaranteed money ever isn't too shabby. I'd take that as a runner-up prize. But then we started getting mayhem:

I have no idea what to expect from Davante Adams anymore, but he's a massive name. Plus you put a wide receiver with the Rams and Matthew Stafford my dumb brain just assumes it's going to work out. Seems like every year when Kupp/Nacua would get hurt you'd have the random guys like Tutu Atwell or DeMarcus Robinson or Van Jefferson look the part. I'll go ahead and say Davante Adams is a better option than that.

Speaking of wide receivers and the NFC West

Before we get into what everyone is talking about, the Seahawks are just blowing everything up. Geno Smith gone, DK gone, Lockett gone. It's basically JSN and Kenneth Walker left there. Don't hate the moves, just weird to see an NFL team blow it up like they are.

But that's not the point. We know what we're all thinking here

Whether it works out or not, the Steelers are now must watch TV. Could be Sam Darnold, could be Russ, could be Aaron Rodgers throwing the ball. Doesn't matter. Pickens and DK Metcalf are an incredible duo. They could each get 250 yards in a game or they could lead a revolt in the huddle. Instantly become a top tier Red Zone team to have on.

All I know is getting this sort of movement is awesome. Our brains, my brain especially, is locked into college basketball. This is a nice brain stop moment and remind us about football. Doesn't hurt that the weather is nice in Cincinnati right now. I'm not one to rush summer, let alone March, but it's football on the brain. Needed to break up the dinner pause from the SoCon semifinals to the Summit League title game.

PS: Smart on Joe Schoen to lock up the most important piece of the Giants franchise
