That's Flow Business, Baby: The 2025 Minnesota State All Hockey Hair Team Is Officially Here

Every year that passes by, you find yourself turning more and more into an old man who just doesn't understand kids these days. You don't get the way they dress, you don't get the way they talk, you hate their music, and you think they're a bunch of dorks for just shaking their asses on TikTok all day. Every year that passes by, you just feel more disconnected from the youths of America today.

But every year on that 2nd weekend of March, you're reminded that there's still hope for future generations. Because every year, the Minnesota State All-Hockey Hair Team video is released, and the kids are more than just alright. They get it. They honor the tradition of having immaculate heads of lettuce, while continuing to add a little flair of their own.

The dye job, the blown out mullet, the duster, and the Slim Jim. This kid is a rockstar in the year 2025, he would have been a rockstar in the year 2005, and he'd still be a rockstar in the year 2045. Just a transcendent look right here of a fella who undoubtedly gets it.

And sure. Maybe some of these flow jobs would be absolutely ridiculous looks to have as your every day sty. A great tournament look, for sure, but people would think you're some deranged lunatic walking around in the month of November like that. But some of these fellas are making sure that the classics never go out of style.

Just an incredible amount of life and bounce in this salad bowl. Like waves cascading onto the shore. The type of hair where no matter where you are in life, everybody will instantly know that you can snap the puck around like an absolute demon.

And speaking of snapping the puck around, just a quick reminder that the Minnesota State High School Hockey Tournament always produces some of the best hockey you'll see all year. The hair obviously gets all the attention, but it's insane how good all these teams are. So congrats to East Grand Forks on winning the Class A State Title off of this OT winner from the Patrick Kane angle.

And congrats to Moorhead on finding a way to hang on to this massive lead even after Stillwater scratched and clawed their way back into this one to win the Class AA title.

Crispiest snipe of the tournament has to go to Zac Zimmerman (great alliteration name) from Moorhead in their win against Edina in the Class AA semifinal.

And most preposterous save of the tournament also came against Edina after Rogers' goalie Wyatt Knott somehow fired that pad over to take away what should have been the easiest backdoor tap-in 9-out-of-10 times.

Incredible tournament as always. Great hair as always. And for a great cause as always, with all the proceeds from the Hockey Hair Video going to the Hendrickson Foundation. You can check them out here to see all the amazing work they do for disabled hockey players. They have plenty of different events/ways to donate for you to help make a difference. Hockey Changes Lives.
