Move Over Auburn and Duke, Florida Might Be The Best Team In The Entire Country

Listen I'm not saying Florida is going to win the National Championship, but I'm also not saying I'd bat an eye if they did. The narrative since two to three weeks into the season has been, rightfully, that Auburn and Duke are head and shoulders above the rest of the country, but with just one weekend to play, we have to add Florida to that mix, right?

Florida now has wins at both Auburn and Alabama, which no one else in the country can say. They have a three headed monster in the backcourt and now all of a sudden their bigs are doing things like Alex Condon dropping 27 points and 10 rebounds against non-slouches like Cliff Omoruyi and Grant Nelson. Plus, Todd Golden is coaching his ass off. Am I crazy in thinking that they have all the pieces needed to win the whole thing?

Don't get me wrong, so does Duke. And so does Auburn (although Johni seems to get banged up pretty often and I thought they looked very different without Denver Jones). But I'm officially locking Florida in as a #1 seed regardless of how this weekend and the SEC Tournament shakes out, and I'm no longer referring to Auburn/Duke as a tier above the rest because I've got the Gators right there with em.

Other topics discussed on the newest episode of the Mark Titus Show:

- Maryland beats Michigan. Is Maryland's starting 5 good enough to get to the Final Four? Is Michigan the obvious 12/5 upset waiting to happen?

- Denver Jones sat out of the Texas A&M game and Auburn got beat from the jump.

- Cooper Flagg is the clear and obvious choice to win National Player of the Year.

- I am officially balls deep in Bubble Watch. Ohio State is now on the right side of things after a 2OT win vs. Nebraska.
