Bruins Lose In Hilarious Fashion And Then Immediately Ship Justin Brazeau To Minnesota

Quick game recap, Bruins tied the game (shout out Morgan Geekie), and the Hurricanes thought they had the go-ahead with 1:15 to go in the 3rd but Taylor Hall's goal was deemed offsides. Phew. Nope... Nikita Zadorov broke his stick with 18 seconds left trying to go D to D in front of his net and Seth Jarvis buried the gift. Patrice Bergeron literally could not believe it...

The 2024-2025 Boston Bruins in a nutshell right there.

Anyways, the B's immediately sent Justin Brazeau (who did not dress tonight) to Minnesota in exchange for old friend and former Bruin Jakub Lauko and RFA Marat Khusnutdinov, a skilled center from Russia.

Wasn't expecting a huge haul for Brazeau, but for a guy who was due to leave at year end getting a pick (albeit 6th rounder) and 2 players back is a win. We'll see if Lauko and Khusnutdinov stick with the big club for the rest of the year or go down and help Providence. Let me tell you this though, it's a bad day to be a grape in New England!!
