LeBron's Career Numbers From the Time JJ Redick Was in College to Being His Coach Should End Any GOAT Debate
There are hundreds of numbers any one person might use in an effort to show that LeBron James is the greatest basketball player to ever do it. He's obviously the only guy to ever score 50,000 points, he's made 21 consecutive All-Star teams and has set dozens of records that will stand for a very long time. But just look at what this freak has done to the NBA from the time JJ Redick was still suiting up for Duke to the time Redick eventually became LeBron's NBA head coach. We will never see anything like this again.
I'm not really a LeBron fan per se because I think he's gone out of his way to make himself far more unlikable than he ever should have been given his greatness on the basketball court, but there really isn't even an argument anymore that this guy isn't the GOAT. I was six years old during LeBron's rookie year and he's still probably the second-best player in the NBA while I have a healthy 401k. We have no choice but to appreciate what we are witnessing.
JJ Redick has lived four lives in the time Bron has been doing it at a higher level than anyone else in history. Michael Jordan would have been averaging six points a game in his 22nd year.
