Jaguars Head Coach Liam Coen Admits That He Has Some Work To Do When It Comes To The Team's "DUVALLL" Chant

On today's Pardon My Take... LIAM COEN! The new Head Coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars joined Mr. Cat and Mr. Commenter on today's show to talk about taking the job, Duval, his life in football, and Steven Cheah speaking for Bucs fans.

It obviously was a rollercoaster of a month for Liam Coen. After it was initially reported that he would be staying as the Offensive Coordinator of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Coen ended up taking the job as the head man a few hours up the road in Jacksonville. And that is where he made his first impression to Jaguars fans, but not for the right reasons...

So, Liam Coen is still six months away from coaching his first game with the Jacksonville Jaguars, and it seems like there is already some film study to be done.

What did Coach Coen learn from his debut on the podium? The PMT guys talked about this topic with him on today's show. Take a look...

Let's not focus on the performance, because that has gotten enough of the spotlight… how about we cut Coach Coen a break and recognize that he has work to be done! This quote stood out to me:

"That was my cadence at the time, and now, hey, I got to learn from these guys and be able to do it a better job next time."

Those are great words to hear if you are a Jaguars. Are you getting an awkward chant right out of the gate? Sure. But what you are also getting is a leader who is taking accountability and responsibility for his actions.

30 for 30 voice What if I told you… a cringeworthy chant led to the turnaround of a franchise?

We shall see.
