Whatever It Takes: Mark Pope Is Burning The Suit He Wore During The Auburn Game Because Of How Much Kentucky Sucked

This is what I needed to see, mostly because we couldn't watch the game. Look, we sucked against Auburn. It was bad, no one could make a shot, no one could dribble, Jaxson Robinson is ruled out for the year, Lamont Butler is still at 80%, but I'm not worried. Kentucky beat top-10 teams without Jaxson Robinson and Lamont Butler already this year. I want Jaxson Robinson back, I wish he was healthy, he raises the ceiling, but now it's time for March.

That means one thing.

Whatever it takes. I don't care how expensive that suit is, Mark Pope needs to burn it, do an exorcism, anything to get the juju back. Just beat LSU this week, get Butler healthier and get ready for the SEC Tournament. Kentucky is a top-4 seed in the NCAA Tournament. Kentucky has some of the best wins all season. Burn that suit, break out the one you wore against Florida. That one was good. There are times Kentucky doesn't need the Rhodes Scholar and needs a little Dan Campbell. This is one of those times. Can't let the boys sulk after one bad game in 29 games. Can't let them think about that. Burn the tape, burn the ball, burn the suit. Hell, have them help you burn the suit.

It's year 1, this is where Mark Pope needs to figure it out. Figure out what's your go-to suit for big games. Figure out what to wear and what to do for good luck in March. If Dan Hurley can get success for the same pair of underwear, surely a suit can work too. Burn it, televise it, move on. Whatever it takes.
