'Figured I'd Give It A Try' - Kid At Bradley's Game Drills A Full-Court Putt For A New Car, Only Did It Because His Mom Signed Him Up

[Source] - "I never golfed in my life," Frey said, laughing. "My mom (Sarah) entered me in this contest, said, 'Hey, you might win a car, go for it.' I don't have a car. So I figured I'd give it a try."

I was very, very close to launching a full investigation as to why we're seeing more full court putts being made this year. Is it just social media? Did COVID help everyone become better putters because everyone started golfing during that time? Are the balls juiced like 90s baseball? Something had to be up, because here we are again with a kid at Bradley drilling the 94-footer for a new car. Now, I say I almost launched an investigation because this also happened yesterday:

Good to see everything stay equal across America right now. One kid wins a car, one kid gets booed as his team is down 25. But back to Trevor at Bradley. Man, you can't admit your mom signed you up. First off, that's the quote that everyone sees and runs with. Not great. Second, you gotta keep shit close to the vest here. We see companies look for people who have a toenail on the line to take away the prize, they may make your mom putt for the car now.

I completely understand living life where your mom just signs you up for shit or you call to figure out how something works. Kids are dumb. You were dumb when you were in college, everyone is. But you can't admit your mom signed you up for a putting event at a basketball game. Give her credit for convincing you to try, sure, that plays. But you're in college now, Trevor. Sign yourself up for events and make mistakes. Drilled that putt though.

PS: I always love these clips because it's just a bunch of dads celebrating in the background. Doesn't matter the level of basketball or anything. Dads fucking love watching putts go in.
