The ESPN Difference: ABC Didn't Show The Last 12:30 Of Kentucky/Auburn, Refs Couldn't Do Reviews And One Hero Streamed It To Twitter From The Stands
First things first, no idea what happened in the game. Couldn't watch it. I'm hearing Kentucky lost which I can only assume means we were fucked over by the refs and bad calls. Saw it in the first half, along with banked threes by Auburn, can only help the miracle continued in the second. Again, no idea because we couldn't watch it. One hero tried to emerge:
But again, it wasn't on TV, so can't tell the results here. A little grainy. Rupp doesn't have the best WiFi so I can't blame him too much. If we're being honest, the refs probably caused the feed to go out. There were 6 reviews with 15 minutes still to go. There's no world for that to happen. College basketball needs to go to a challenge system. We're looking at games taking over 2.5 hours without overtime to happen. Can't happen.
Speaking of can't happen. This can't. It's 2025, you don't just lose feeds for over 12 minutes of game time. Instead we got a blue box, commercials and hockey promos. The US wasn't playing Canada, so not sure why we were getting a hockey promo there. We're not talking about some random company here, this was on ABC. You lose the feed for over 30 minutes and can't fix it? I'm not buying it. At least the refs couldn't do reviews.
