Cole Caufield Is A Dirty, Nasty Boy

He's currently top 10 in the league, and on pace to be a 40-goal scorer for the first time in his NHL career. It seems like you would need to have a giant bowl of applesauce for brains if you were to build a roster for Team USA and put someone like Chris Kreider or Brock Nelson on the team ahead of him.
The best way to categorize the decision to leave Cole Caufield off the roster would be donkey-brained. Especially considering Team USA desperately needed to have a killer on the ice who can put the puck away in overtime. Something along the lines of this would have sufficed…

I know Macklin Celebrini is a rookie forward, but he's one of the more defensively sound rookie forwards we've seen in a while. And Cole Caufield put a leash on him and took the dog out for a walk. Even gave him him a few belly scratches along the way. And then to have the audacity to finish this off with a quick little of the wrist to go bar Mexico from the top of the crease? Pretty sure exactly what Rihanna was talking about when she wrote the hit song, "Rude Boy". Nasty stuff.
Habs are 5 points out of a playoff spot right now with 4 teams to jump in front of them. Probably going to need a lot more of this out of Goal Caufield if they want playoff hockey back in the Bell Centre.
