The US Attorney General Just Told the FBI Director the NY Field Office Has Been Refusing to Hand Over the Epstein Client List

This is definitely not the blog I've spent all day waiting to post.
Today was the day we were supposed to finally get the complete Jeffrey Epstein Client List. Attorney General of these United States Pam Bondi has been saying the list is on her desk. And the only thing being done to process it before a full public release is redacting the names and personal information of the victims. Which is obviously a mercy.
So today was going to be the day. And like you do when one of your teams is looking to make a move and is up against the trading deadline, millions of Americans have spent the day refreshing their feeds to get the names of the vile, corrupt perverts who raped underage girls with the world's most notorious pedophile.
And the closest we've come is watching some right-of-center social media stars walk out of the White House holding up official binders that read "The Epstein Files: Phase 1." Which was both encouraging and chilling, once you realized the list of clients is so long they need to be released in serial form, like Harry Potter books. Then again, once Bondi said there were, shudder, 250 victims' names to redact, it figured the list of satanic monsters involved would be long as well.
Since then? Nothing. Until this afternoon. When Bondi released this letter she sent to FBI Director Kash Patel explaining that the New York Field Office is ignoring the order to release the files. And one credible journalist has a theory as to why:

Just in case it's not clear, Bondi is not accusing Patel. Like her, he just got sworn in:

And met with fierce resistance every step of the way:

So by all accounts he's been put in this position to flip over the Monopoly board and make heads roll. Which in a way makes it all the more alarming that the NY office is just blatantly flipping the double freedom rockets both to him and Bondi. Their boss and their boss's boss. And since Trump appointed them and signed the Executive Order to release all the records, their boss's boss's boss. Not to mention dopes like us who pay their salaries and think they work for us.
So why would they choose to die on the hill of protecting these demons who flew to Epstein Island and otherwise rubbed elbows (and other body parts) with the most notorious creep of our lifetimes? Especially knowing that they'll immediately lose their careers and maybe their pensions. And possibly face jail time for it?
Michael Shellenberger's theory certainly makes sense. That it's possible Epstein was not only living his depraved lifestyle with the knowledge of the Feds, but with their cooperation. On their behalf. As part of a honeypot operation to blackmail and control powerful people. Which would be the biggest scandal in American history if true.
Another explanation could be the one the whole country has been suspecting all along. That there are names on that client list simply too powerful, too influential, and too rich to release. Still. Despite the fact the entire Executive Branch leadership is ordering it. Including the duly elected Commander-in-Chief.
The idea that a guy can be given the power to launch nuclear missiles but can't get some child rapists' names released to the people who decided the election and are demanding to know who's on the list is indescribably insane. It would prove we're not a democracy. We're not even a country. We'd just be sheeple serving under the command of some secret shadowy government agents nobody has any control over.
So buckle up. The AG says in the letter she's ordering all this information handed over by 8:00 am Friday. Either we get to read the names over breakfast tomorrow morning or we don't. And I'm not sure which outcome will be wilder. What a time to be alive.
