A Woman Is Going Viral After She Returned A $30 Payment For Lunch From A Man Claiming That It Was "Low Effort"
Maybe my algorithm is just broken but I can't seem to escape these types of scenarios that seemingly go viral every few weeks. Sometimes it's unacceptable places to take a woman on a first date, other times it's listing qualities of an ideal man which includes not drinking tap water or using AirPods:
Or maybe it's a woman saying one of her "icks" is seeing a man happy and smiling:
Ultimately, these are all to show you that dating in a 2025 world has never been more fluid. If you're still single these days, well, good luck because you have to deal with all sorts of various scenarios like having your $30 returned when you thought you were doing a nice gesture. Gone are the days of chivalry but in a world of memecoin scammers and social media "influencers", your competiton is real men who are sending $250 for lunch at Nobu overlooking the Malibu coastline. Call me crazy but you give me $30 for lunch and I'm turning that into three meals courtesy of two Chipotle bowls and that's in one of the most expensive cities in the world NYC.
One of my all-time favorite cringe quotes that people try to make seem deeper than it really is applies perfectly to this situation, so without further ado:
Fellas, don't be the $10 guy. Good luck out there.
