TMZ - Sydney Sweeney's not hearing wedding bells in her near future … 'cause she's pushing back her nuptials, TMZ has learned.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ … the actress was supposed to get married in May, but the wedding's now on hiatus -- and, it's not totally clear why.

We reached out to people in the know … and, they confirmed to us the wedding was being pushed back because of the couple's busy schedule.

As you may know … Sydney got engaged back in 2022 to the restaurateur after the two sparked dating rumors back in 2018.

Somehow Sydney Sweeney is engaged. Everything that I've ever seen in my life would argue that fact, but it seems to be true. All you see when you search Sydney Sweeney is her dry humping Glen Powell for the last 3 years, but still, she remains engaged. Turns out we're all just suckers who fell for their "Anyone but You" promotion, I guess. Because I would have bet my bottom dollar that ol' Sweeney was no longer engaged when she was on that press tour. Watching those two galavant around together was like watching Skimemax at midnight when you thought your parents were asleep. Yeah, you didn't really see anything go in and out, but you knew what was happening, you got the gist of it.

So what were we talking about? Oh yeah. Sydney Sweeney and her not famous fiance have pushed back their wedding. And on behalf of the millions and millions of people reading this blog, I have one word for ya- HOPE.

As the wise philosopher Michael Scott once said, "engaged ain't married". And Jim ended up with Pam. So if Sydney ain't in a rush to marry her current jabroni, to me that means we all have an equal chance of marrying her. It could be you, reading this right now. It could be your pal Henry. It could be your uncle Doug. Or it could be your friendly neighborhood blogger Eric Nathan.

I don't know much, but what I do know is when someone pushes back their wedding because they are "too busy", it means it ain't all rainbows and unicorns. Sure it could work out. Or maybe she signs up for "Anyone but You 2" and rubs her body against Glen Powell's abs for another 3 years and her fiance goes postal. I think that is a strong possibility. So hey, good luck out there gents. Every man for himself now. Good luck!
