I Have Genuine Secondhand Embarrassment From The Alabama Baseball Team's Locker Room Snapchat

You're probably wondering what is going on here, and I was too before I had to Google and find out that Alabama's baseball team came back and beat Ohio State on Sunday. To say I'm devastated would be an understatement. I'm torn up and could barely get out of bed this morning.  The loss dropped Ohio State, who hasn't won the Big 10 in 15 years, to 1-5 on the year. I really thought this was going to be the team to make the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2019, but it looks like I'll just have to focus on being an Ohio State football fan once again.

Anyways, the point of this blog is that after Alabama (8-0 on the year) pulled off the huge upset win, their players took to the locker room to post this "Fuck The O" picture on Snapchat.

Oh how the mighty have fallen. Is this what happens when Kalen DeBoer goes 9-4 in his first year as football coach and the entire state knows that the program is going in the wrong direction? Is this what happens when the SEC loses its spot as the dominant conference in college football? 

Ohio State does not care about baseball at all. Baseball, in college, is a southern sport. The best players play in the SEC and the ACC. The idea that 8-0 Alabama is taking photos like this after beating a 1-5 team is the equivalent of Ohio State chanting "Fuck Marshall" after beating them in football. I'm embarrassed for the actions of these Alabama players. I saw they issued an apology for the gesture but I don't care about that. I care more about how dumb they are. And for Alabama standards, that's really saying something.
