'How The Fuck Did We Lose That One Game?' - Rick Pitino, Once Again Showing Why He's The Best Coach In College Basketball

I've said it before but it's worth to keep saying as St. John's goes this year. Rick Pitino is one of the 5 greatest coaches this game has ever seen. The fact that St. John's had the ability to hire him, get him at the right them when he's at Iona and schools like Maryland decided they didn't want him, you now have a St. John's team ready to win the Big East. They just beat the shit out of you, hang around and then kill you late. It's old school ball, not even old school Pitino ball because this team can't shoot worth a damn. It doesn't even matter though. 

That's exactly what they did to UConn last night. Hung around, then took advantage of mistakes late and won. It shouldn't be that simple but it really is for St. John's. They have their star in Kadary Richmond. They have their pieces with RJ Luis and Zuby Ejiofor. They have the guys who know their roles in Wilcher and Davion Smith and Aaron Scott. Everyone has just bought in and it's all because of this guy. 

He is kinda right though. St. John's is 21-3 on the year, 1 loss in Big East play. They lost to Creighton by 1. They lost to Baylor by 1 in double OT and Georgia by 3. If you have Rick Pitino as head coach, I'd be asking how you lose a game too. The man still has it and is going to be a great future GM of Kentucky basketball. Come on back home, Rick.
