Winners and Losers From The Barstool Sports Skills Competition

Alright I'm on the plane back from New Orleans, where the company set up headquarters this past week for Super Bowl 59 and all of the festivities that come along with that. Wednesday Night, we hosted the Barstool Sports Skills Challenge at the prestigious Pan-American Stadium in Louisiana. If you haven't checked it out yet, here is the link. Friendly advice to skip to the 27:27 mark because, in typical Barstool fashion, the audio didn't work until then. But from that point on, the competitive juices got flowing and we had some hilarious moments. Here's my Winners/Losers list from the event.

Winners:

Jon Gruden and Nick Turani - The new best commentating duo at Barstool Sports.

Coach asked me before what he was getting into was this, and I said, do you understand sarcasm? Cause Turani is about to have you in a pretzel for 2 hours if you don't. By the end of it, he proclaimed Nicky as the funniest person at the company. These two completely saved a dead stream that had no audio for about 30 minutes.

PFT - Guy went barefoot for the kicking portion and proceeded to hit 100% of his field goals from inside 35 yards.

Rone - Partially on here because I never want to be on the bad side of a diss track, partially on here because he cleared every single RB hurdle with ease. Probably could've gone up another foot and a half.

Dave Portnoy - Pains me to say it but the dude just wins. No shoulder in tact and took a team of himself, Eddie, Moobie, Lewan, and PFT to a championship.

Losers:

Brandon Walker - Coach Gruden's LVP of the entire event for his Kicking abilities.

Steven Cheah - I like Steven so I won't be saying that his mishap in the final relay took 22 seconds to correct, while he team only lost by 14 seconds.

Hank - I don't think Hank was that bad, rather he was just behind two quarterbacks that did well. Regardless, the story moving forward was how Gruden went from calling Peyton Mannings' games to calling Hank go 3/57 at Pan-Am Field.

The Audio - Yikes. I'm not going to beat a dead horse but only at Barstool on that one. Again, skip 27 minutes into the event if you want to start hearing what was going on….
