Big East Wars: Dan Hurley Told Every Single UConn Player To Watch 'Gladiator' So They Are Ready For Tonight's Game vs St. John's

This is what we need for tonight though. Love that on a Friday night we're getting a massive Big East game. We're getting the Johnies back in primetime and with a chance to win the Big East. That's the story right now. Rick Pitino turned this shit around in no time because Rick Pitino is one of the 5 greatest coaches ever in this game. Dan Hurley isn't dumb. He knows how St. John's plays. They want to beat you up, they want to turn you over, they are going to press, bump and beat you. Everything that's 'finesse' about basketball, St. John's is opposite. 

Take away Hurley being a lunatic and saying things like this all the time, this is how the Big East should be described. Every conference has their own reputation whether it's right or wrong and maybe I'm still stuck in the 80s and 90s but the Big East was a war. It was beating the shit out of you as Bill Raftery was on the call, happy as anyone in the world. That's what the Big East needs to get back to and it starts with Gladiator, apparently.
