No, Saquon Didn't Take A "Savage" Shot At The Giants For Telling Jameis Winston To Sign There

Well congratulations to "Front Office Sports" who have officially just made the list of people who can get absolutely fucked for trying to drum up unnecessary drama with the Eagles.

Last night at Super Bowl Opening Night, Jameis Winston was going around asking some questions for Fox Sports. One of the questions he worked in to most of the guys he interviewed was about needing to find a roster to land on for next season. Front Office Sports put out this clip of Saquon telling him that "New York needs a quarterback right now", and for Jameis to sign with the Giants.

Everywhere you looked on social media, the clip was getting posted with about a hundred skull emojis in the caption. Everyone thinking that Saquon Barkley is out here kicking the Giants while they're down. That Saquon is on the game's biggest stage right now, and all he can think about is a way to throw a "savage shot" at the Giants.

Which couldn't be further from the truth. It's just that those schmucks at Front Office Sports decided to cut the clip early. Here's the rest of it.

"Dabs will get you right".

This wasn't an admonishment of the Giants. Instead, it was Saquon Barkley praising and appreciating the job that Brian Daboll does in New York. He knows it wasn't Brian Daboll's fault that Daniel Jones didn't work out. He knows that if Jameis Winston wants to maximize whatever is left of his career, that Brian Daboll is a man who can make that happen. If anything, Saquon Barkley might be the only person in America right now who is speaking highly of the Giants and their coaching staff. Because I know Giants fans sure as shit are not.

So no. This wasn't Saquon throwing shade at the Giants. We don't need that bad juju heading into the Super Bowl. This was Saquon respecting his former team, admiring the strengths and abilities of their coaching staff, but Giants fans are all just a bunch of hyper-sensitive, overly emotional little bitches who are too quick to jump on the defensive. That's all there is to it.
