Lakers Superfan O’Shea Jackson Jr's Live Reaction To The Luka Trade Was As Hilariously Genuine And Warranted As It Gets

I'm still having a hard time processing the stunning Luka-Lakers trade that down on Saturday night. None of it makes a lick of sense and as a result it will almost certainly will go down as the dumbest NBA trade in history, assuming Luka isn't about to get deported or arrested for a Wander Franco type situation. 

I think like most of you, I was in a state of frozen shock when I saw the Shams tweet. Any of Shams being hacked, kidnapped, phone stolen, or flat out duped was on the table to justify it not being real. Eventually after a little reading and further confirmation from Shams himself, we all realized this was actually happening. Luka Doncic was a Los Angeles Laker. Anthony Davis was a Maverick. 

I love seeing all the genuine reactions to this trade. Can't get enough of them, We were all the same person Saturday night when the Shams tweet dropped. Whether you're a millionaire, poor, a child living at home on their couch, someone drunk at the club, whatever, that trade stopped you in your tracks and took over your life. My favorite reaction I've seen is from actor O'Shea Jackson who was on a wrestling pod just shooting the shit when all of a sudden the news came through. Jackson is a Lakers superfan and lives/dies on all of their big moments as you can see below. 

It's almost like he was slowly watching security footage of a guy breaking into his home. The pupil change, his head turn, just flabbergasted. 

Probably a bad sign if you're the GM of the Mavericks that everyone thought this was a fake trade and no one could believe they were actually trading a 25 year old Luka Doncic. No one maybe more than Luka himself. 

Couldn't help but mention my guy Jonathan Macri who is as dialed into Knicks analysis as it gets. Same deal. He just couldn't speak and kept scrolling in pure disbelief.
