Promo Of The Year: Omaha Hoops Is Having Fans Bring Their Own Trash Cans To Use As Popcorn Buckets, Fully Embraced The Mid-Major Weirdness

So I blogged about Omaha and assistant coach Kyan Brown before: 

The man goes belt to ass on trash cans after wins. It's become the perfect mid-major weirdness thing that college basketball Twitter has run with and Omaha keeps winning. That's the important thing here. They are fighting for first place in the Summit League, so you gotta break out all the stops. In this case, it's bring your own trash can day: 

I've never been more in on a mid-major than seeing Kyan Brown do this. Look, in order to be successful at a mid-major you gotta be weird as shit. I'm not talking about the A-10 or anything like that, I'm talking true mid-major basketball. You gotta have your thing. Omaha's thing is trash cans. It's Kyan Brown destroying them. It's fully embracing using trash cans no matter what. Does it make sense? Absolutely not, but you get to see a grown man break out a steel chair on a trash can: 

This promo is great though because 1) no one wants to fuck a trash can like you see at the movies

And 2) it's mid-major basketball. People working at Baxter Arena are probably pumped to see more trash cans

I need Omaha in the NCAA Tournament now. Gotta see what Kyan Brown does to a trash can if they win the Summit League.
