Notorious Liar Liam Coen Is Running The Same Old Plays Down In Jacksonville

The Jacksonville Jaguars held an introductory press conference for their new Head Coach, Liam Coen and I got more out of it aside from one of the more cringeworthy things that came out of any press conference in recent memory.
And it wasn't the non-answer he gave about ducking numerous calls and texts from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after he had agreed to a monster pay raise.
He mentioned how family can "maybe plant some roots".
Credit where credit is due. He used the word "maybe" this time. Smart because "planting roots" is a Day 1 Liam Coen install. You see, this is his fifth job in five years and he's used this line before. In fact, two years and two jobs ago when he went back to Kentucky, he assured Big Blue Nation of his commitment to stay there and used some familiar language.
“I’m not in a rush to go anywhere,” he said at his re-introductory press conference. “I want to go try to make an impact and be around somewhere for a little while.”

After he left Kentucky, Big Blue nation was seething and now I feel their anger after all this lying. Asking for an astronomical raise from the Bucs, getting it, then asking for more before agreeing to return. Then refusing to answer phone calls and texts from the Bucs while responding to the Jags. Now he's saying his regime in Jacksonville is going to be built on honesty. I guess the honesty has to start sometime. Why not now?
I listened to the rest of his presser and it sounded more like his wedding vows than an actual plan of attack. But needless to say, I'm interested in how this season plays out in Jacksonville.
