Josh Harris, Weasel, Not Allowing The Sixers To Congratulate The Eagles On Social Media After Winning The NFC Title Is As Petty As It Gets

There's not another city on planet Earth like Philadelphia when it comes to sports. There's NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS, NLL. With so many teams calling Philadelphia home, there's a strong sense of family among all the teams. Each team constantly rooting for the success of all the others.

Or, at least, that's what we thought....

The Phillies immediately congratulated the Eagles on social media after stomping the shit out of the Commanders in the NFC Championship Game with a GO BIRDSSSSS tweet.

Down in Chester, the Union fired off a tweet to voice their excitement over the Eagles going back to the Super Bowl.

Across the street at the Wells Fargo Center, the Flyers were happy to return the favor of Jordan Mailata supporting the Orange & Black by supporting the Eagles on social.

Another team that plays in the Wells Fargo Center, the Philadelphia Wings, were out on Broad Street celebrating the win.

Heck, even the Philadelphia Waterdogs of the PLL--who don't even technically have a home yet in Philadelphia--were able to put a "go birds" out there after a little coercion.

Every professional sports team in Philadelphia was able to put a quick message out there on social media to celebrate and support the Eagles. A rising tide lifts all ships, after all. That is, of course, every pro team besides the 76ers.

This has been the only tweet the Sixers have put out since the Eagles spanked the balls off the Commanders last night. Trying to sell tickets to watch the Sixers get pummeled by Jokic and the Nuggets on Friday. No mentions of the Eagles. Not a single "Go Birds". No nothing.

Obviously this has the weasel's fingerprints all over it.

What a small, sad little man Josh Harris is. First he gets bullied and stuffed back into a locker after trying to move the Sixers from the South Philadelphia Sports Complex. He wanted an arena all to himself, and then Roger Goodell and Adam Silver came around to say "no way, bozo. Get your ass back to the Wells Fargo Center". He loses out on getting his own arena, and then a few weeks later he ends up getting his doors blown off in the NFC Championship Game by his next door neighbor.

So what does he do? Well clearly he sent out a memo saying the Sixers wouldn't make any acknowledgment of the Eagles after the game. That's the only clear explanation for why the Sixers admin hasn't fired off a "Go Birds" tweet yet. The petty little bitch is so far in his feelings that he won't even let the team congratulate the Eagles on social.

And if that's the way it's going to be, then I just don't see how we can consider the Sixers to be a Philly team anymore. Sure, they may play their home games in Philadelphia. But for all intents and purposes, that's it. They're not the Philadelphia 76ers anymore. They're just the Sixers. There's literally zero need for anyone in Philly to care about that loser franchise anymore. Because just like every other team that Josh Harris owns, the Sixers have won absolutely nothing.

Oh and by the way--about the report that Jeffrey Lurie is in the running to purchase the Boston Celtics. Personally, I think that would be a terrific "fuck you" to Josh Harris from Mr. Lurie. The situation of Jeffrey Lurie purchasing the Celtics couldn't be any further from Josh Harris buying the Commanders. Jeffrey Lurie has brought a championship to this city already. So he's earned the right to do whatever he wants at this point. And also, this is a football town at the end of the day. The Eagles are the clear #1 here. So if he buys the Celtics just as a way to stick it to Josh Harris, that means nothing as long as the Eagles keep winning.

Anyway, here's to hoping that rat bastard Josh Harris realizes that everybody here hates him and just sells the team already. Maybe sell it to Mr. Lurie at a discounted price so he doesn't end up destroying you again with the Celtics.
