Maybe Shooting A Gun Into The Air A Few Times In A Crowd Of People Isn't The Best Way To Celebrate The Eagles Going To The Super Bowl
Gotta be honest here, gang. I know everyone was all jazzed up about the Eagles going back to another Super Bowl. But maybe, just maybe, we don't need any celebratory gunfire.
I'm not a gun guy, but I think I understand physics enough to realize that if you shoot a few bullets up into the air, they eventually have to come down somewhere. The whole "what goes up, must come down" thing. I haven't seen anything on the news this morning about anyone getting hit with gunfire during the Eagles celebration last night, so I'm assuming these bullets just landed on a roof somewhere.
But I guess this is just what you get in the northeast. They're a different brand of Philly up there. I mean just look at the way this dude fired off three shots, and barely anybody even flinched. If this was near City Hall last night, it would have caused a stampede. Center City is where all of us who grew up in the suburbs go to live for 5-6 years in our 20s, and then head back to the suburbs once it's time to raise a family. The northeast is where you are born, you're raised, and you live there until you die. Celebratory gunfire is just a way of life up there.
Chances are this dude is going to get caught, and he'll be in jail for the Super Bowl. But if for any reason he doesn't get caught, maybe just make sure this fella stays on Frankford and Cottman during the potential Super Bowl celebrations. We don't need Mikey from Mayfair creating any chaos in Center City when you've got a bunch of entry level accountants reading "Inner Excellence" up on the light poles.
