Liam Coen Reportedly Spent The Day Ghosting The Bucs So He Could Become The Jags New Head Coach (A Day After Turning The Jags Down And Getting Trent Baalke Fired)

One day ago Liam Coen reportedly took himself out of the Jags head coaching search. He was going to get a raise, go back to the Bucs OC and everyone made fun of the Jags. Actually, let me clarify. The Jags fired Trent Baalke because of all of this. Seemed like another year of waiting and hearing 'Liam Coen, next head coach'. 

Well, today this is going on: 

Man turned into Littlefinger, got Trent Baalke fired and is likely becoming the next head coach of the Jags. I think I'm forced to respect that move. Sure, this is what he's done. He left Kentucky on weird terms before and is doing it here with the Bucs. But, this is about the ability to completely ignore an NFL team's calls. That's a level of maneuvering around that is hilarious. 

Also, this just really sells home how fucking bad Trent Baalke was a GM. Coen snaked his way to getting Baalke fired before taking the job - or at least seemingly taking the job. Again, the man ghosted an NFL team within 24 hours of every major person out there (Schefter, Rapaport, Cheah) talking about the extension and getting a raise to stay on as OC with the Bucs. At least he called Bowles 40 minutes ago apparently: 

Incredible. This is where we need Hard Knocks cameras around. This is the sort of shit I want to see on camera. Bucs front office just losing their minds, constantly calling and texting Coen. Release the texts! At least we have those 40 minutes. Every single person has been there before. Cover your ass with something like this when you know it's all coming out anyways. Can't say you didn't reach out at least. You're not technically lying which is the big argument point.
