The Interactions Between Conor McGregor And The Paul Brothers At Trump’s Inauguration Were Exactly What You’d Expect

After their photo from the back of the bus and a few quick clips from others went viral earlier this week, the Paul brothers finally shared a glimpse at what their interactions with Conor McGregor were like on the way to Trump’s Inauguration via Logan's latest vlog - and it’s pretty much exactly what you would expect.

Conor is absolutely WIRED and in their faces immediately talking about how he’d smack them (and KSI) around, how he’s the real deal and they’re clowns/side gigs for him, and how they have bosses they answer to just like him - all while still trying to set up a boxing match with Logan - and the Pauls share a few chirps back in response to each point. It oddly sounds more confrontational than it really was when you type it out like that, though. Despite there being REAL hatred there between Conor/Jake, I think they all knew there was no fucking around on Inauguration Day and had the energy of kids talking shit on a playground. There was even a circle of onlookers (including Theo Von) in these clips simply enjoying the verbal back-and-forth. It almost looked like a bizarre fever dream field trip.

Logan had the best dig of any of the exchanges (at least of what they posted) when McGregor called them “side-jobs” and he responded: “You can’t even do your main job, how are you gonna do a side-job?” 

As much as I hate to say it, that was a damn good comeback. Every now and then, you just gotta know when to tip your cap to some good shit talk, and this is one of those times. 

I think McGregor knew it in the moment too. He walked right into that.

God, I wish Dave accepted his invite to the Inauguration just to hear more of these bus stories. Imagine him in the middle of all of this? Pulling up Miss Peaches/Pete the Beagle videos to diffuse the tension in the air?
