The Biggest Lie Ever Told: Andy Reid Is Trying To Convince The World The Chiefs Are Some Scrappy Underdogs Who Were Doubted All Year

I get that Andy Reid is a head coach of the scrappy Kansas City Chiefs. I mean a small market team, with almost no marketing, a few titles that have gone under the radar and facing the big bad Buffalo Bills. But the Chiefs are not an underdog, they are a 1.5 point favorite. They are at home. Almost everyone would pick the Chiefs in this situation, no matter how overmatched they might be.

This has to be part of coaching classes when you're coming up in the ranks, right? Every coach always tries to play the underdog role no matter how dominant you've been. Granted, half of the people out there just want to give the Chiefs wins to the refs, we do have a real ref story here:

Is this just a bigger conspiracy theory for the NFL to hide the scent of calls going the Chiefs way? I'm sure we'll have cool and calm reactions during the game on Sunday. I just love the idea of Andy Reid trying to hype up his players by convincing them they are underdogs. A real chip on the shoulder. It's a go-to move for coaches across the country, just almost impossible to pull off when you have 3 Super Bowls. Truly impossible to do when every single person in America talks about the Chiefs.
