Paddy The Baddy Fought Another Pro MMA Fighter Who Was Talking Shit Online Today

As I always say - never a dull moment in MMA. Paddy The Baddy and his team traveled from Liverpool over to Manchester today so that Pimblett could settle some beef with another professional MMA fighter named Denis Frimpong. They agreed to an unsanctioned fight (where there was even some chatter you'd only win via someone going to sleep), everyone gathered around to watch, and Paddy did what you would expect him to do, and overwhelmed Frimpong on the ground before choking him out.

It seemed like there was a little post-fight commotion over Paddy not letting go of the choke while members of his team were shouting "Don't tap, Denis! Go to sleep!" at the fighters on the ground, but as I just mentioned - they supposedly agreed to fight until somebody went to sleep! Not until somebody tapped! Frimpong himself said they had to fight until someone was unconscious! That's the chatter on the MMA Reddit/Instagram streets, at least.

This beef really ignited after Frimpong fought an actual amateur recently, and the mismatch was just sad....

It honestly looks like me against a professional. It's insane that was allowed to happen. Frimpong proudly reposted the highlights anyway....

….and Paddy The Baddy entered the comments of that post to voice his displeasure with a professional fighter (who already has a bad reputation as it is, I'll get to that in a second) beating the shit out of an amateur and then bragging about that "win", and got into a back and forth with Denis.

It sounds like Frimpong's bad reputation stems from an incident when he fought one of Pimblett's teammates, where Denis made comments mocking his opponent's dead grandmother - just sounds like a piece of shit all around. He made the decision to invite Paddy out to spar anytime/anyplace/anywhere, and unfortunately for him….Paddy accepted that offer nearly instantly and made the trek to Manchester to embarrass him in front of his own gym. Be careful what you wish for.

Just a great "pick on someone your own size" story right there. You gotta love it.

P.S. UFC 311 is on deck and despite some things shuffling around after Arman Tsarukyan dropped off the card yesterday, it's still an awesome slate of fights we've got ahead of us….
