Omaha Basketball's Coach Going Belt To Ass On A Trash Can After A Win Is The Early Leader For Locker Room Celebration Of The Year

When there's 364 teams in Division I basketball, you're going to get weird shit on a regular basis. That's what happens when you have a mid-major like Omaha on a winning streak. You get their assistant coach going belt to ass on a trash can in the locker room. Mind you he worked his way up to this. First you had the spike, then you had the field goal kick and finally the belt to ass. I love it. Get as weird as possible when you're on a winning streak, hard to argue against the trash can being the reason for this.

I know what you're thinking too. Who gives a shit about Omaha? Fair. But they play in the same conference that gave us Oral Roberts and South Dakota State. The Summit League is always the 14 or 15 seed where we go, you know, they can keep it clsoe and who knows! We talk ourselves into this shit every March all based on conference or team - looking at you Vermont, South Dakota State, any of the UC school out west.

The key here is doing this at Omaha. You can't do this in the SEC. You can't do this at Villanova or any other big school. I'd even argue you can't get away with this in the Mountain West. You have to be a true mid-major with a weird thing. Omaha's is letting their assistant coach beat the shit out of trash cans. Does it make sense? Absolutely not. I'm sure it's something with taking the trash out after a win, who knows and who cares though. If Omaha makes the NCAA Tournament, a trash can needs to be on a seat on the bench next to Kyan Brown.

PS: Nailed that field goal though.
