YOU GOTTA TRY THIS- Joe Biden's Favorite Burger

I was recently in Wilmington, Delaware doing color for a boxing tournament thrown by Gillie and Wallo…

It had all the trappings for an awesome night of Rough N Rowdy-like brawling, but sadly, the event did not go as planned… Some shots were fired, some venue doors were smashed, and the police had to resort to german shepherds and pepper spray to control the crowd before the arena was forced to evacuate.

I'm sure Gillie and Wallo discussed the unfortunate events in a recent edition of Million Dollaz Worth of Game, which you can check out here…

The bright spot of that trip was that I got to try some local spots in the area, including an old-school place called the Charcoal Pit which I stumbled upon randomly but was quickly informed by the locals that it is Biden's favorite place to get a burger, and he even took Obama there at one point for one of their famous black&white shakes… That sounds almost too racist to type, but since I got away with saying I was providing "color" for an all-black boxing tournament above, I might as well leave the "black&white" mention in as well.

Anyhoo… The place was great.  There used to be 4 locations, but it is now down to just one. And it's the type of establishment you hope never fully goes away or gets bought up by a huge private equity shop that will inevitably kill its vibe.

Here is my review of the joint, and I'll post the one from my Instagram account since TikTok may be gone in a couple of days since it was responsible for those drones over New Jersey last month…

Last thing I will say about this place… Seeing the checkered floors, mini jukeboxes at every table, and Formica countertops gave you the sense that the Charcoal Pit has been around for quite some time, but it is those pebbled red-plastic cups that really brought me back to the diners and luncheonettes of my youth…

They sell the cups at the register, or you can just shove a couple in your pocket like I did. Either way, give the place some love if you're ever in the area.

You gotta try this.
