Pittsburgh Scumbag Like You Read About Crashes Out After Apparently Taking A Puck From A Kid At Penguins Game
Did you see this? Did you hear about this? Apparently there was a fan at a professional sporting event who was acting like a drunk asshole. And here's the kicker--he's not even from Philly. Go anywhere on the internet right now and you'd think every piece of shit on planet Earth was centrally located in the South Philadelphia Sports Complex. But turns out one of the crazies got out of the asylum and all the way across the state to Pittsburgh.
Now the issue with this video, like mostly every video on the internet, we don't get a chance to see any of the context leading up to it. We have no idea if it was a puck thrown over the glass specifically intended for a kid, but this dude jumped in there and swiped it. We have no idea if a puck just got flipped over the glass during play, the older guy caught the puck but didn't concede it over to the little kid. Personally, I don't think anyone over the age of 12 should be taking "souvenirs" away from games, but you don't know if this old fella was planning on bringing that puck home to a grandkid or anything like that. You'd hope an adult would always concede to a child when it comes to things like this, but there are always extenuating circumstances. I think the whole "you HAVE to give the ball/puck away to a kid" culture is nonsensical. This kid looks way too old to not have to earn it himself.
With that being said, the way this old geezer ended up reacting to the WAG coming down and giving the kid a signed puck leads me to believe he's just a grumpy old prick in general. Chances are he was an ass about it from the jump.
A couple closing remarks:
1) Good for whoever on the Penguins is wheeling that.
2) This mom can play on my team any day of the weekend. Hockey mom through and through. She didn't give a fuck. She was ready to drop the mitts and let 'em fly right then and there.
