A Bride Is Going Viral After Washing Off Her Makeup 20 Minutes Before The First Look And Making A TikTok Roasting The Makeup Artist Who Was Having None Of The Disrespect
Listen, I have a golden rule of blogging. If it has 40 million views with thousands of replies, at least 1% of people might end up caring about that on here and that's good enough for the top blog of the day. If you ask me, I think way too many people are invested in another human's wedding which has led to the bride privating her TikTok from all the hate, but welcome to 2025 where everything is vlogged.
We've heard the age old adage that not everything needs to be public online, and turns out that trying to ruin the reputation of a makeup artist doesn't go well amongst the Beauty Guru (TM) community online. Apparently she went online and trashed her business 6 months after the wedding which was in the summer, a huge no-no if you're trying to get involved in the influencer world. And look, I don't even know if I think her makeup looks bad because it's not my cup of tea, but a quick Google search says that the makeup for a wedding goes anywhere from $500 to $1000 in larger cities/suburbs. Something tells me there's some additional factors going on if you decide to post it on TikTok 6 months later for some likes and it wasn't necessarily the makeup.
Did I want some more pizzazz from the makeup artist rather than playing it cool and saying that she's good at reading body language and in the moment the bride had zero problem? Would that made for a better blog if she had ripped her into Smithereens and said she was the worst bride she's ever worked with? Sure, but all we've got is this video that is somehow the most viral on the Internet with a nice cup of non confrontation.
The more I write about this the more I realize I'm horribly uneducated to talk about makeup or weddings, both things I've never had the displeasure of being involved in. And the good news if you don't care about this and wish it didn't exist? We're only a few days out from TikTok being a thing of the past:
Gonna need to find a new blog source.
