Deshaun Watson Ruptured His Achilles AGAIN And Could Miss All Of The 2025 Season

Look I'll tell you exactly how I feel:

1.) I do not like injuries. Hate me for it, but I think Deshaun's time in Cleveland has not just sucked for us, it's sucked for him, too. Plagued by injuries and hatred. Has he brought a lot of that on himself? Yes, obviously. But anyone rehabbing a ruptured Achilles that then ruptures his Achilles…I don't care who it is, that sucks.

2.) This is pretty good news for the Browns, no? And again, I'm being honest. I'm still not 100% positive we can't win with Deshaun because one of my biggest flaws is I can't move on. A small part of me still remembers Deshaun on the Texans. A small part of me still thinks, hey, if we traded 3 first rounders for him….he can't be THAT BAD, right? But what my eyes and the rest of the fan base have told me is that he is. And now that he's gonna be out for the year again, we are 100% going to either make a move to bring in a veteran that can win….or draft someone at #2 to be the franchise of the future. This injury made our decision for us.

And can someone smarter than me explain what everyone's saying that this actually HELPS our contract situation?

3.) The Browns can't catch a fucking break. I saw the Dog Walk the other day draft worst organizations in all of sports, and the Browns went #2? HUH? Find me another franchise that is like this. That invents ways to lose. That ruins trades because they can't turn in the slip to the commissioner in time. And that's injured franchise QB gets injured again during rehab. This is the worst organization in all of sports, and Deshauns trade will unequivocally go down as the worst trade in sports history.

Where do we go from here? Kirk Cousins? Sam Darnold? Cam Ward? Sheduer? Please not JJ McCarthy. How about Will Howard?!?!
