Nobody Has Ever Been More Wrong Than Greg McElroy Saying Drew Allar 'Is Not Going To Put The Ball In Harm's Way', 2 Plays Before His INT Cost PSU The Game

We know what happened last night with Drew Allar.

But, this, this is somehow still going under the radar. I don't truly believe in announcers jinxes or anything like that. But you want to talk about an all-time bad call? This is basically opposite of do you believe in Miracles? And I say this as a guy who likes listening to McElroy. Think him and Sean McDonough can make a case for best listen in college football. But how do you sit here, watch that game from last night and even think to say that Drew Allar doesn't make bad decisions.

I think we can all agree and all can say, Drew Allar stunk last night. He missed that throw in the flat for a touchdown early, which then let James Franklin kick a field goal from the 2 yard line. Hell, he didn't complete a pass to a receiver all night, which isn't shocking for anyone who watched Penn State this year.

But, this goes back to McElroy saying 'he doesn't put the ball in harm's way. He makes good decisions.' Buddy, do you remember this throw?

Saved by a flag. Just like the other interception he threw in the end zone early in the game. I get you want to be aggressive, which you probably should be from the 2-yard line and use Tyler Warren, but this has to be one of the worst calls out there. I can't get over how wrong it ended up being.

PS: I'm still confused about what he was trying to say here:

There's 28 seconds left, go score a touchdown.
