The Utah Jazz May Have One Of The Worst Records In The NBA, But Walker Kessler Is Doing Just Fine After He Watched His Girlfriend Win Miss America At A Team Dinner

Great caption by the fellas in the trenches here but man what a life Walker Kessler has. He's arguably the lone bright spot on a Utah Jazz team that is 9-25 even though he's averaging 10/11 on a 71% field goal percentage, and turns out he's dating one of the hottest women in the entire country right now. The basketball part will probably work itself out after he gets on a contending team and gets paid a zillion dollars. Anyway, meet Abbie Stockard, who just won Miss America hailing from the great state of Alabama, and happens to be Walker's girlfriend:

Hard to feel that bad for the guy when he's 7 feet tall and gets to go home to that every evening. The video itself is kinda a feel good moment that we can all get behind: a supportive boyfriend seeing his girl win a crown legitimately crowning her the most beautiful woman in this country. High praise and coach Will Hardy is sitting there like "fuck, I wish we could win some games, but this is cool too". I'm rooting for the Jazz to turn this ship around after seeing this video because what a great group of fellas they've got over there in Salt Lake.

And by the way, if you follow the NBA rumor mill, there's been some murmurs about Walker being traded but you watch this video and tell me. And if I know anything about this league, it's that the Jazz aren't gonna give up their young cornerstone for pennies. If they do though, the Lakers would be happy to take him!
