Kirby Smart Is Going To Murder This Georgia Walk-On Who Tripped a Ref and Got a Personal Foul That Cost the Dawgs Points
I am concerned for the safety of Georgia cornerback Parker Jones. If we don't see him come back out of the locker room after halftime, we know what happened.
Gunner Stockton completed a 66-yard pass to Arian Smith to get Georgia down to Notre Dame's 12-yard line in a scoreless game, but a 15-yard penalty was assessed at the end of the play after Jones ran into an official on the sideline in the midst of his excitement. I don't know that even this kid's worst nightmare was as bad as committing a personal foul in a College Football Playoff game while not even dressed out that likely cost the Bulldogs four points. Even if they win this game, Kirby Smart will never forgive him.
I think he has to just go into the tunnel, pack his shit before the rest of the team gets in there at half and just quit the team. That's the only way to save any sort of face here.
The silver lining for Parker is I'd take a guess this will somehow lead to him working at Barstool Sports in a couple years.
